Every year some of my friends and I organise a fundraiser to help support the Edmonton Food Bank and we use our blogs to try and signal boost it. This is that 🙂
This year we are trying to raise $1,500 for the Edmonton Food Bank.
Because of their community connections and bulk-buying abilities, the Edmonton Food Bank can turn every $1 cash donation into 3 meals.
It’s kind of like magic. Real measurable magic that means when I tell you that every dollar counts you can do the math and know that it’s true.
And it means that if we reach our goal we will have provided 4,500 meals to struggling people.
The fundraiser officially begins tomorrow — on December 1st, but I have it on good authority that it’s possible to donate early if you

Some years we have solid, formal themes, some years we don’t. But this year we fall somewhere in the middle. We don’t have an official theme but I think there’s an unofficial one — I think there is an unofficial one every year. And that is people helping people. Because we can.
If you cannot help financially, I totally get it — but maybe share this link with a friend. Or if you see us posting about this on social media give us a like or a repost. Helping to boost our signal can be really helpful and doesn’t cost a dime.
See you back here or over at Beth Cato’s blog tomorrow to get things started!
