The long awaited sequel to\u00a0One in the Hand\u00a0<\/span>is finally (nearly) here!<\/p>\n

In\u00a0One in the Hand<\/span>\u00a0Autumn learned the world was populated by gods, giants and magical creatures and that she was one of them when a magical sword manifested in front of her grandmother. In\u00a0With a Broken Wing<\/span>\u00a0she continues that journey of discovery — about herself, her family and the world at large — through a cloud of grief and in the shadow of Ragnarok.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It begins when a child who tells her he likes her wings — wings no pure human should be able to see. And to complicate things, the child and his parent are living with her. While she attempts to find out what that means — surely this adorable little boy doesn’t pose a threat to her and those she loves? — she is forced to make a huge sacrifice to protect a friend and deal with some more life-shaking revelations about her family.<\/p>\n

Then she is given a quest by a dwarf.<\/p>\n

And<\/span>\u00a0she has to navigate all of that without even the familiar comfort of the sword that started all this drama in the first place.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s all incredibly unfair, but at least she can trust her friends to help her through it… or can she?<\/p>\n
