As you may have guessed from the domain name, my name is Rhonda Parrish. I am a writer and this is my blog.Last year I co-founded and ran a drama club at my daughter’s school. One of the things we did was perform a Christmas play. I wanted something secular and the other teacher wanted something with audience participation. Rather than dig through books of scripts for kids for something that would work and was for the right number of children, I wrote something. The result was Aurora, The Littlest Reindeer.
I am including the entire script below for use by any teacher or non-profit group who may find it useful. Please just make sure you give me credit where it’s due by not removing my byline and including it on any programs or promotional items you make.
It worked out that the kids in our drama club performed it in their classroom, which meant no lighting effects or audience participation, but it was still a lot of fun and went over well.
