Buy My Schtuff :)

You would not believe how long I struggled to come up with a title for this page. “Show Your Support” seemed appropriate, because obviously buying the books my work appears in is showing support, but there are so many other ways to show support without spending money that it also seemed deceptive to call it that. “Shop” was succinct, but lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. I even looked at other author’s websites to see what they called their ‘This is where you can buy my books’ page…but I didn’t find any inspiration there either. So, Buy My Schtuff it is. I tried to come up with something better though, honest. :)

This is a list of books and such my work is included in. I will do my best to keep it up to date :)

Shades of Green

Z’thandra, the last swamp elf in Aphanasia, lives with the Reptar, a fierce race of lizard-people, most of whom resent her presence and want her gone from their village. When she discovers a human in the swamp and falls in love with him she must face the most difficult decision of her life. Will she pursue a life of happiness with the man she loves and in doing so condemn the Reptar to extinction, or will she chose to sacrifice her future to offer them hope? In the end the choice she makes will affect the Reptar for generations.

Sister Margaret

This short story is about a vampire hunter and a half-incubus swordsman who are hired by a priestess of deception to take care of an undead pimp. It’s been called ‘a gritty tale of cross and double cross’ and it’s one of my favorite short stories I’ve written ever.

The link above will take you to the shop page of Niteblade. That is because Sister Margaret was included in the first issue of Niteblade (September 2007) so the most inexpensive way to read it is to buy the Niteblade pack where you set your own price. Plus, you get a whack of other great fiction at the same time. If you’d really rather buy -just- Sister Margaret you can get it at Fictionwise here.

Abominations

My short story, Spoiled Picnic, is included in this collection of short stories featuring, you guessed it, abominations. Abominations was on the short list for the Stoker award. Unfortunately it didn’t make it on the ballot but I’m telling you, it’s a fantastic collection with a brilliant cover. I would highly recommend buying it even if my work wasn’t included but I’m so proud that it is. You really ought to read it. Really.

Mystic Signals 2

There’s Always a Catch is a short story I wrote loosely based on a roleplaying expirience I had as a GM. It was published in Sorcerous Signals and I was also lucky enough to have it included in the this, Mystic Signals 2, a collection or short stories.

Arcane Whispers

A pair of tourists take a wrong turn and find themselves in a very unpleasant situation. That’s the premise of my flash fiction piece, Wrong Turn, which you can see in this anthology from WolfSinger Publications.

DemonMinds

My short story, Axe, is included in this collection. Axe is a re-telling of the story of Little Red Riding Hood, from the perspective of, you guessed it, the woodcutter’s axe. It is also the most disturbing story I’ve ever written and not for the faint of heart…
